Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 10+ qubit coherence
- Develop quantum security frameworks for 2026-era data protection standards
- Drive quantum cloud infrastructure integration with classical HPC systems
- Publish thought leadership on quantum supremacy milestones and industry roadmaps
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in error correction and decoherence mitigation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in quantum computing with demonstrated fault-tolerant system design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals (Nature Quantum, PRL) or equivalent patents
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
