Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for 2026-generation hardware
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid algorithms
- Optimize quantum software stacks for cloud deployment on AWS Braket and Azure Quantum
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Drive patent development in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms with frameworks like Qiskit or Cirq
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or top conferences
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware control
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
