Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for high-performance data retrieval.
- Architect and maintain robust database schemas and models that ensure data integrity and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical database solutions.
- Perform complex data analysis and troubleshooting to resolve performance bottlenecks and data anomalies.
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in SQL development and database administration.
- Expert proficiency in T-SQL, PL/SQL, and/or PostgreSQL query languages.
- Strong understanding of database normalization, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.
- Experience with data modeling tools (ER/Studio, PowerDesigner) and ETL processes (SSIS, ADF).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
