The Role
You will be the technical gatekeeper for our client's organic growth. Your deep understanding of search engine algorithms will ensure our platforms are not only found but preferred. You will bridge the gap between engineering and marketing, ensuring our technical stack supports our ambitious SEO goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical audits and site architecture analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
- Implement and manage schema markup (JSON-LD) to enhance rich snippet visibility.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability.
- Analyze crawl budgets and server logs to resolve indexation issues and prevent thin content penalties.
- Lead the strategy for internal linking structures and site hierarchies to maximize crawl efficiency.
- Develop and execute strategies to disavow harmful backlinks and monitor domain health.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Technical SEO with a proven track record of driving organic traffic growth.
- Deep knowledge of Google Search Console, Analytics 4, and crawling tools (Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl).
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to understand on-page technical nuances.
- Experience with site migrations and URL restructuring projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or related field.
