Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including site preparation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate and maintain power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) to ensure seamless project execution
- Inspect completed work for quality compliance and report issues to supervisors
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to prevent hazards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience in commercial or residential settings
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required by project schedules
