Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist carpenters and masons with site preparation and construction activities
- Ensure adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (training provided)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing and manual labor
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
