Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks with precision
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment safely
- Read blueprints and follow technical specifications for structural accuracy
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with complex installations
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and enforce site safety protocols
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing procedures
- Manage waste disposal and maintain organized job sites
Qualifications
- 3+ years commercial/residential construction experience
- OSHA 30-Hour certification required
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and construction machinery
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
- Pre-employment drug screening required
