Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and directing equipment placement
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and task execution
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently per OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications with precision
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to all safety protocols
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong communication skills and ability to take direction
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
