Responsibilities
- Execute skilled labor tasks including concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers) with OSHA certification
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
- Perform material handling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trade professionals
- Document daily progress and maintain clean, organized work sites
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience in commercial/residential projects
- Valid OSHA 30 certification and ability to obtain additional certifications
- Proficiency with power tools and heavy machinery (operator licenses preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow complex instructions
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school preferred)
