Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and trenching tasks per project specifications
- Maintain clean and safe work areas following OSHA guidelines
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery under supervisor guidance
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and plans
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Participate in daily safety briefings and equipment inspections
- Collaborate with skilled tradespersons to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and occasional overtime
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and adapt to changing conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
