Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Operate heavy machinery (skid steers, excavators) with proper certifications
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) for seamless workflow
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment for optimal performance
- Complete daily progress reports and quality assurance checks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience in commercial/residential settings
- Valid OSHA 30 certification and heavy equipment operator license
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
