Responsibilities
- Perform skilled labor tasks including concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and material handling
- Operate and maintain power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment safely
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with complex installations
- Prepare and maintain job sites, including cleanup and waste management
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on construction experience in commercial/residential settings
- OSHA 10/30 certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand building codes
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Pass background check and drug screening
