Responsibilities
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout, measuring, and material preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA safety standards
- Demolish structures and clear debris for new construction phases
- Perform site preparation tasks including excavation and grading
- Assist in setting up temporary site infrastructure and safety barriers
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Miami-Dade County
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively in teams
