Responsibilities
- Execute precise concrete pouring, finishing, and curing techniques for structural elements
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and skid-steers with OSHA-certified proficiency
- Install and secure scaffolding systems, fall protection, and temporary worksite safety barriers
- Perform advanced masonry tasks including bricklaying, blockwork, and stone veneer applications
- Conduct thorough site preparation including excavation, grading, and utility trenching
- Interpret and implement complex construction blueprints and technical specifications
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA-compliant work environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in commercial/residential construction
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification required
- Valid North Carolina Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficiency in operating at least 3 types of heavy construction equipment
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and schematics
- Physical capability to lift 75+ pounds and perform strenuous tasks in extreme weather
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of local building codes and compliance regulations
