Responsibilities
- Execute precise construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, forklifts, power tools)
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications accurately
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters)
- Conduct quality checks on completed work sections
- Assist in material inventory and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Strong problem-solving and spatial reasoning skills
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends for project deadlines
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
