Responsibilities
- Execute precise construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company quality guidelines
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout construction phases
- Perform site preparation, demolition, and material handling duties
- Document daily progress and report issues to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on construction experience in commercial/residential projects
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification and state-issued driver's license
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow complex instructions
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material estimation and measurement
- Strong teamwork abilities and clear communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
