Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and finishing work
- Maintain safety compliance and site cleanliness per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, etc.)
- Collaborate with project managers and team leads for task coordination
- Document daily progress and material usage in project logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient in operating hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
