Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine material requirements
- Operate power tools including jackhammers, saws, and concrete mixers
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with specialized tasks
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized inventory
- Perform site cleanup and waste management according to EPA guidelines
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction or related labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 30-hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and follow safety guidelines
