Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, concrete pouring, and framing tasks
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators and forklifts (OSHA-certified)
- Install and finish drywall, flooring, and roofing systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and blueprints
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and project managers
- Maintain clean, organized job sites daily
- Perform equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- 3+ years construction labor experience in urban environments
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Valid NYC DOB Site Safety Training (SST) card
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Physical stamina for lifting 50+ lbs and working at heights
- NYC Construction Worker Certification preferred
- Reliable transportation to job sites across boroughs
