Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools
- Install and maintain structural components per blueprints and specifications
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trade professionals
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain organized, debris-free work environments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Proficiency with hand tools and heavy machinery operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints
- Physical stamina for lifting 50+ pounds and working at heights
- New York State driver's license preferred
- Basic knowledge of NYC construction permits and compliance
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
