Responsibilities
- Perform skilled labor tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and finish carpentry
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and power tools safely
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, HVAC) on integrated projects
- Inspect work areas for hazards and maintain clean, organized job sites
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience in skilled trades
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with power tools and construction machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow complex instructions
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Tampa Bay area residency preferred (local knowledge a plus)
