Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation, excavation, and foundation work following blueprints and safety protocols
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and concrete pumps with certification
- Install structural components (steel beams, concrete forms, scaffolding) per engineering specifications
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance checks and report safety hazards immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electricians, plumbers, supervisors) to meet deadlines
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA and EPA regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience with verifiable references
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator license
- Ability to read technical blueprints and interpret construction schematics
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills for on-site technical challenges
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications (e.g., crane operation)
