Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled trades with carpentry, masonry, and finishing work
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions
- Load/unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
