Responsibilities
- Execute skilled labor tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades professionals
- Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with building codes
- Assist in material handling and inventory management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience in skilled trades
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow complex instructions
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
