Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise project execution
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Assist carpenters and masons with specialized construction phases
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety protocol reviews
- Complete quality control checks and documentation as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction/labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and heights
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Background check and drug screen required
