Responsibilities
- Execute concrete pouring, finishing, and formwork installation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers) with precision
- Assist carpenters with framing, scaffolding, and demolition tasks
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read blueprints and technical drawings for accurate implementation
- Manage material inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Valid Illinois driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic blueprint reading knowledge
