Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and earth-moving operations
- Construct and reinforce concrete structures using formwork and rebar
- Install and maintain scaffolding, hoists, and other temporary structures
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with OSHA certification
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trade specialists
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid state driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Blueprint reading and measurement calculation expertise
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Drug-free workplace compliance mandatory
