Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project preparation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Read blueprints and interpret construction documents accurately
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely
- Participate in project cleanup and waste management protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial/construction labor experience
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic blueprint reading knowledge
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
