Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, power tools) with precision and safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with strict adherence to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades in cross-functional teams
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with building codes
- Assist in material handling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience with verifiable references
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Flexible availability including occasional weekends and overtime
