Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and foundation work following blueprints
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers) with precision
- Install and erect scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces to engineering specifications
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and installation
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain OSHA compliance and uphold site safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience in commercial/residential projects
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with hand/power tools (saws, drills, levels)
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and overtime
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
