Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) and power tools safely
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material preparation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Maintain project cleanliness and organize job site materials
- Participate in daily briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and construction terminology
- Class B CDL or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
