Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, forklifts, and power tools safely
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous material disposal
- Participate in scaffolding setup and basic concrete finishing work
- Collaborate with crew leads to meet project timelines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (training provided if needed)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
