Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) following OSHA protocols
- Inspect and maintain job site safety standards and equipment functionality
- Collaborate with tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) to meet project deadlines
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for precise implementation
- Manage material inventory and maintain organized workspaces
- Participate in sustainable building practices and waste reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years verified construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement proficiency
- Class B CDL preferred (training provided)
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
- Spanish bilingual skills highly advantageous
