Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, concrete pouring, and framing operations
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trade professionals
- Inspect materials for quality compliance and report defects
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience in commercial/residential settings
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification and heavy equipment operator licenses
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and construction measurement equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
