Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Install and remove temporary safety barriers and scaffolding systems
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with OSHA compliance
- Assist carpenters and masons with material assembly and finishing
- Perform daily site cleanup and waste management protocols
- Adhere to strict safety standards and quality control measures
- Document daily progress and material usage for project reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic blueprint reading
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Flexible schedule including overtime and weekend availability
