Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment under supervision
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, braces, and temporary structures
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete with attention to structural integrity
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) on complex builds
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction labor experience in commercial/residential settings
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving record
- Proficiency with power tools and basic construction equipment
- Ability to read technical blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability on active job sites
- Spanish language proficiency highly valued for diverse teams
