Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers) with proper safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with material preparation
- Ensure job site compliance with OSHA and local regulations
- Maintain equipment and tools in optimal working condition
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard assessments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening
