Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and earthwork operations following blueprints and safety protocols
- Construct and install concrete forms, rebar, and foundational structures with exceptional attention to detail
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and concrete pumps with certification-level proficiency
- Implement OSHA-compliant safety measures and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex commercial and infrastructure projects
- Utilize advanced measurement tools for layout and quality assurance
- Manage material inventory and maintain organized job site logistics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience with verifiable project portfolio
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (excavator, dozer, loader) with documented experience
- Expert knowledge of concrete pouring, finishing, and curing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and schematics
- Physical stamina to work in extreme weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs regularly
