Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, finish carpentry, and material installation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, sanders) and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with precision
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized, hazard-free job sites
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure project accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electricians, plumbers, and project managers
- Perform site preparation, demolition, and cleanup procedures efficiently
- Inspect completed work for quality compliance and report discrepancies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience with proven expertise in carpentry, masonry, or concrete work
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with construction-specific tools and equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision craftsmanship
- Flexibility to work weekends/evenings for critical project phases
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
