Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material preparation, site cleanup, and equipment operation
- Execute excavation, trenching, and backfilling tasks per project specifications
- Safely operate power tools including saws, drills, and pneumatic equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate task execution
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards on all job sites
- Transport materials and equipment using hand trucks and light machinery
- Document daily progress and report maintenance issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
