Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespersons with framing, concrete work, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure project specifications are met
- Load/unload materials and transport equipment to job sites
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Class B CDL preferred (equipment operation experience)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (Phoenix heat)
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
