Responsibilities
- Execute precise construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, masonry, and finishing work
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment (excavators, saws, drills) with OSHA compliance
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure project accuracy
- Implement strict safety protocols and conduct daily site inspections
- Coordinate with subcontractors and skilled trades for seamless project execution
- Perform material handling, site preparation, and debris management
- Document daily progress and maintain organized work areas
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience in residential/commercial projects
- Valid OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to read architectural blueprints and technical schematics
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes
- Team leadership experience or willingness to mentor apprentices
