Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, concrete work, framing, and finishing
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and installation
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard mitigation
- Complete quality control checks under supervisor guidance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, masonry, or concrete work
- Strong attention to detail and precision measurement skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- North Carolina driver's license required
