Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and earthwork operations
- Install and maintain scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with certification
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for material allocation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Assist in concrete pouring, finishing, and curing processes
- Coordinate with subcontractors and project managers for seamless workflow
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification
- Class B CDL license or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexible schedule including weekends and overtime
