Responsibilities
- Execute safe and efficient construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with precision and care
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Report safety hazards and maintain compliance with all regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30 certification and relevant equipment licenses
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and construction machinery
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Preferred: Experience in high-rise or commercial construction
