Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise project execution
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades professionals
- Assist with site preparation, demolition, and finishing work
- Report project progress and material requirements to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and power equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- California driver's license preferred
- Experience with sustainable building practices a plus
