Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling with precision
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, power tools) safely and efficiently
- Install, assemble, and dismantle scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction plans
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, masons) on complex tasks
- Conduct site inspections and report hazards or maintenance needs
- Assist in project cleanup and waste management procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (certification preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
