Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper safety protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling and installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Perform structural demolition and debris removal efficiently
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour Construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Class B CDL or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and techniques
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
