Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, concrete pouring, and framing tasks per blueprints
- Safely operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material handling
- Perform site preparation, debris removal, and basic finishing work
- Complete daily safety inspections and incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor or trade experience
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Physical stamina for 8-10 hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Local New Orleans residency required (no relocation assistance)
