Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete work, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper tool management
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Perform quality checks to ensure project standards are met
- Collaborate effectively with diverse project teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (forklift, excavator) preferred
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Basic blueprint reading and math skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
